League Rules

New League Rule for 2023 - 2024

ROSTERS / OFFICIAL WWHL PLAYERS

1 - A player can only play on one WWHL team.   Now we have players for years that have played on two teams such as Drew and Brayden Bertone, Jordan Kaspick and Joel Snyder.   Those guys will be "grandfathered" into the WWHL by being allowed to play on two teams.   However moving forward next season players can only be on one team and roster.

2 - Emergency goalies can be called up for any WWHL team or WWHL spare goalie list.

3 - To participate in WWHL playoffs the rostered player must have played 5 league games.

4 - No players can be called up to play with other WWHL teams in the future.   If your team has some guys that can't make it then you will have to play with only 7 or 8 or 9 players etc.   Once again zero player roster movement will be allowed in the future.

5 - If you see a non rostered player you can protest before the game to the referee or timekeeper.   That player will be told to leave.   Protests must happen before games and not after the fact.

Thank you for your understanding

Any player that gets a 10 minute misconduct will be suspended for the next game.

The amount of officials is decreasing and the main reason is the abuse they take from the players in all three divisions. We hope that everyone will take a second to think before yelling and screaming about a missed icing or offside etc.

Also standard Hockey Manitoba and Hockey Canada rules will apply.

Thank you
